Jayelle’s private practice is focused on movement re-education. Individual assessments are done using hands on techniques and skillful observation to identify faulty movement patterns. Initial visits are 90 minutes in length allowing sufficient time to hear clients concerns fully, to analyze movement and develop a program that fits with each person’s lifestyle. In partnership with each client, a personalized exercise program is designed to rebalance body asymmetry and restore function. Audio recordings of the program are made during the first visit to ensure accurate attention to movement details and pacing. All clients need to be prepared to complete their “home play” a minimum of 5 days per week however they are encouraged to avoid extremes of movement or moving into painful areas. Subsequent visits are 60 minutes in length and are generally spaced two to three weeks after the initial visit allowing time for the practice to take effect.
